Will he tell us how to do it smarter, or go with his normal stance, it's not the role of the opposition to tell the government what to do?

UK Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer has said his MPs will not be "voting down" the 22:00 curfew rule next week, although he told reporters that the policy "needs to be reformed".
Speaking on a visit to a farm in Wiltshire, Sir Keir said it was an "up, down, take-it-or-leave-it vote" and that if it was voted down, "then there won't be any restrictions in place... that's not what we want so we won't be voting down the restrictions... that's not in the nation's interest".
He told broadcasters he wanted the government to acknowledge the curfew - which means pubs, bars and restaurants in England must close at 22:00 - was not working as anticipated, and said there was a "smarter way of doing this".

Sir Keir . . . told broadcasters he wanted the government to acknowledge the curfew - which means pubs, bars and restaurants in England must close at 22:00 - was not working as anticipated, and said there was a "smarter way of doing this".

Wonder who told him that?

The demarcations might need to be redrawn on Monday if the new traffic light system comes in. Lots of towns and cities in the north might be joining the 'no beer' cabal.
