UUMM if she ever got her way and left all the cash cows, what then? She would never be able to afford the EU boarder she would have to build, that's if the EU wanted Scotland?

Wee Jimmy needs to explain to average Jock in the street where all the wonga is coming from to pay for
Education
Health Care
Social Care
Benefit Payments
She should also explain that all the payments people have made into the “system” won’t guarantee them any pension from the UK government - I’m sure Westminster will happily bale out of that commitment- and current pensions - if they are continued to be paid at all to what would be non UK nationals - would at the very best be frozen

Jobs - Lossiemouth, Kinloss,Fort George, Leuchars are all major employers especially on the Moray Firth and that’s before we even mention submarines.

Once the people are in receipt of ALL the cold hard economic facts BEFORE they cast a vote then we might well see the enthusiasm disappear overboard.
The SNP seems to think North Sea oil is the answer - that and EU Subsidies

The SNP were trying to convince the gullible that the wonga from North Sea oil was going to fund their largesse in 2014. Since then the price of that oil has headed south big time and shows no sign of recovering. If Scotland had voted for independence at that time it would be in dire straits right now. The EU do not need another basket case and Scotland is nowhere near being able to satisfy the requirements for joining them.

Just watched the latest episode of a very good documentary called Once Upon a Time in Iraq - Beeb 2 last episode next week but we’ll worth looking up on catch up.
It’s a very powerful thought provoking piece of film making.
It should be mandatory viewing for all politicians and military colleges on both sides of the pond.
If the BLM movement want to see what life is like when you’re really under the boot of authority then watch this - and then realise whingeing about events 150 years ago that no one today had anything to do with is pathetic.

My mother was in a rest home in the Burg (Scotland - where everything is free........). Because of all the eye watering amounts of cash we had to shell out for all the 'free' care etc, we had to sell her house. At the time the estate agent told us this.... Now, it may well have been a sales ploy, but at the time, we hadn't considered it.

If Krankie and cronies achieve their aim, then property prices in the Burg area in particular and a good wider area in general, will go into free-fall, as English (just generalising here!) and other Service home-owners put their houses on the market in an attempt to 'beat the rush'.

There is also the small fact of just how many people are reliant on the Base for their income, either directly or indirectly. Then there is Rosyth and all the other military establishments. Yet many of the people working in the Base are advocates of the SNP policy. Turkeys voting for Christmas....?

@SONAR-BENDER I see you put your vote in, and went to Spain. ;) Imagine No income from the wider UK (cash from Westminster) No EU, No oil, that may lead to a few issues, just hope that the majority in Scotland, are not blinded by wee crankies smoke and mirrors.

Those muppets in the base listened to the bollox Salmond was coming out with about making the base the main military establishment and their jobs would be safe.
"So," says I "WTF would the army want with submarine engineers and nuclear welders?"
"Oh......" was the well considered intellectual response.
The truth of the groundswell of support was because liebour had just broken the economy and the Tories are a toxic brand up here because they are still run by Thatcher. So they voted SNP as a protest.
Not everyone who voted SNP wanted independence.
Unfortunately since Ruth Davidson stood down the resurgence in Tory opposition has dwindled, Liebour are still in tatters and the greens are just clowns
