Tragic, but...

BBC News said:
A 22 year old South Shields man, Stephen Heslop, held up a taxi driver at knife point and stole his taxi. Moments later it crashed through a fence at a cliff top, and plunged 120 feet onto the beach below. Heslop was killed.

The police say they are unsure at the moment if it was a deliberate act, or he just lost control of the vehicle.

It's just a shame he died. Much better if he'd survived and been paralysed from the neck down so he had the rest of his life to live with the consequences of his actions. Or am I being too harsh?

The tax payer would have to support him and his kith and kin for eternity, and the local council would have to build a wall to prevent it from happening again. RESULT :thumright:
