Poems and a great epitaph!

  1. Apart from a load of WW1 poets that I read I also love the poems of the great Lord John Wilmot[mentioned here before] so when I came across his epitaph by Dr Samuel Johnson I thought of how many of the RR crew it would also apply to!

    "Died in a course of drunken gaiety and gross sensuality, with intervals of study perhaps yet more criminal, with an avowed contempt of decency and order, a total disregard to every moral, and a resolute denial of every religious observation, he lived worthless and useless, and blazed out his youth and health in lavish voluptuousness".

    Guess we know who we are!
