Lib Dems, having just blown millions on their fatuous referendum, are (I see here) going to have to be allowed to blow away even more money that we haven't got on an idiot 'study' into forms of deterrent that don't deter. We have been over this ground countless times already.

  4. FFS! What do the Limp Dims have in mind I wonder; give someone a good slapping with a haddock fillet, get Vince to talk them to death and the really bloody annoying thing is that the Tories will have to bend over and squander more of our money in order to keep them on-board.

  5. I'm guessing it'll be the usual options... we can have nuclear bombers if we don't mind them being shot down before getting within a thousand miles of the enemy coast, we can have ship-launched missiles if we don't mind them having a life expectancy of around three seconds after the declaration of war, or we can have land-based ICBMs if we don't mind building a new base to house them... Wales being about the right size...
