Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Recently passed my medical and now time for the PJFT. My times are fine, I'm 26 so have 11:33 to run it in and last time I did it on the road, I ran 10:23 (10 flat is the target).

I've noticed on the form that there are some health checks they do prior to the run. Can anyone give light on this? There is a blood pressure check for sure, but my brother-in-law, who applied for the Army years ago, said I might have to do a lung check?

    Cheers for your help.
  2. All I had to do was a blood pressure check and weight and height taken.
