    For your information
    Dear All,
If you receive a phone call on your mobile from any person, saying that,
he or she is a company engineer, or telling that they're checking your
mobile line, and you have to press #90 or #09 or any other number. End
    this
call immediately without pressing any numbers. There is a fraud company
using a device that once you press #90 or #09 they can access your "SIM"
card and make calls at your expense. Forward this message to as many
colleagues, relatives and friends as you can, to stop it.
Many thanks for your time regarding this matter, take care and regards.

  2. Like a lot of emailed "virus warnings" this is, in fact, utter tosh.

  3. go tell PC Corris then! His email adress is there.

  4. Difficult to know these days as many are sent out as hoaxes just to get people to pass them on; the clogging up effect is just the same.

Some of these [email protected] have bugger all to do.

  6. Don’t affect me as I don’t have a mobile thingy, in fact I hate the bloody things!

  7. If i didnt have to have one for work i wouldnt either.Pain in the bloody arse they are.

  8. Have been only been asked ever only once on how turn the things off by the owners of the beasts, my reply give me a hammer or put it on the floor and I will show you, surprisingly no one takes up the offer, I wonder why?

Most of the owners are the worst offenders are the worst.

    End of rant.

  9. I love most things that are high tech. I have a computer, laptop and satnav. I also have a mobile phone that lives in a drawer almost permanently. I hate the bloody things. Most of the time people on them are just talking sh!te. And as for people using them while driving, I would ban them on first offence.

    Rant over, hello world

  10. Hey, don't knock mobile phones, its the best thing i own. It has all my favourite music, video recordings/pictures of good times and places i've been. And its great to know whos calling so you don't have to answer. and then you can just send a quick text if you can't be bothered having a full blown conversation with someone. I must admit though that i was surprised to learn i can bring my mobile phone to basic training with me, obviously only to be used outside working hours, but still great, though, could pose as a bit of a distraction when i should be cleaning my kit etc.

  11. Mobile phone---ace peice of kit, but get a pay as you go one.

My house phone line is for computer use and the idiots that attempt to ring to offer me all sorts of crap that the answer machine listens to!
Telephone bill to Bt is basically line rental money

Texts are great too--- easy communication!!
