Would a period of sickness from work due to stress (being bullied at work), affect my application?
Ive looked at the medical standards and cant see anything!

    Thanks in advance! :)

A history of mental health issues can be an issue due to the extreme physical and mental duress that is part and parcel of operational life in the Armed Forces.

Generally, as long as the period of treatment is less than around 3 months and the individual is free from treatment/symptoms for 2-3 years with no previous history & the individual is otherwise mentally robust, there should not be a problem.

To avoid delays regarding medical suitability follow the advice in the medical appointment letter and bring copies of all medical notes relating to the condition - information should include specific dates, symptoms & specific medication prescriptions.

    Good luck.

  3. There was no medication subscribed.
Literally just a period of sickness for 1 month.

As long as the treatment involved neither medication or specialist counselling, then it's just the medical examiners shout.

    Good luck.
