Pay Spine CIS

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Good morning all.

With CIS now moving over to the Weapons Engineering branch, will the pay spine per rank change to correlate the current ET WE pay spine?
  2. Would they bother changing it when the pay model is very likely to be significantly changed this year anyway with the NEM?
  3. Legacy CIS are staying on their pay spine. So a CPOWE who has gone CIS will be on the higher pay band where as a CPOCIS who will now be a CPOWE(CIS) will remain on the lower pay band. Enjoy!!!!!!
  4. Blimey, that's a strange decision.

What about new joiners, do they go onto the WE pay band?
  5. All new joiners will join the WE pay structure.
  6. lol

you have to laugh at those decision.
they (the powers at be) 'want' it to work...legacy senior rates to really be part of and shape the ET(CIS) thing. yet wont pay them the same despite making them move from warfare to WE.

    just bizarre
  7. Indeed, especially considering the legacy CIS ratings will no doubt be doing considerably more work than loafing WE's. Shocking.
