  1. Project managing operational performance improvements through a series of initiatives across the National Supply Chain function is the main challenge here. However, you’ll also need to establish clear and timely performance reporting protocols, lead the NSC 24:7 team in the dissemination of information and communicate details of significant performance events to a variety of key stakeholders. Delivering flash reporting on NSC performance the help the leadership team focus on priority issues will be important too, as will liaising with rail industry partners to agree and refine reporting, escalation and decision making processes to optimise performance. We’ll also rely on you to contribute to the development and maintenance of up-to-date operational and safety policies and procedures relating to service, delivery, operations and personnel.

Ideally from a project management (APM) environment where you formed teams across functional boundaries, the ability to influence decision-making, manage conflict and work well in a pressurised environment is key.
