  1. Hi all,
I've accepted a conditional offer to start as a deck cadet in May and am just waiting on my security clearance to come through (3 months and still waiting...). A few weeks ago I broke a finger in a cycling accident and had an operation. The finger is temporarily pinned, but this should be removed by the end of the month, after which I should have full function.
My question is; do I have to inform the RFA/ the doctor who issued my ENG1 that I've had surgery so that they can be sure I'm fit before starting? If so would I contact Occupational Health or another department?

I'd be inclined to ask the RFA recruiters in Portsmouth, just to be certain: 02392 725243

  3. Thanks NinjaStoker, I gave them a call and was advised to send details to the group mailbox FAO Occupational Health.
