    There are several Files about DEADLIGHTin the National Archive. Did deal with an ex- 2 1/2 whose firm were going to salvage them, but the project was kiboshed by the Elmers - something to do with a clause about no further re-use of the divided spoils.

    There's a good book called Uboat Fact File that tells the history of each Uboat and its demise --

    Good section in it covering the Operation Deadlight Uboats .
    lot of them sunk by gunfire from the towing vessel and didn't reach the designated scuttling area.
    Bad weather and tow lines parting etc.

    Think there has been a lot of sport diving activity on some of them aswell.
