  1. Today i had a phone call from my afco saying that he was trying to secure my place at raleigh:-D and then sent me an e-mail of a questionare to fill out just wondering how long after i have completed it i should hear of a date im going in as a seaman specialist and have been waiting since last january any ideas? cheers
  2. Once you've completed all your recruiting process, they start bidding for a place for you. It may still be a year or two until the training place becomes available for you though. I think seaman specialist has one of the longest waiting times, so maybe another 18 months or so to go? Ask them when you return the questionnaire, they'll know better than anyone else really.

You will normally be advised by your Carrers Adviser at the selection interview how long you can expect to wait. If you passed the recruiting test for the first time in Jan 2011,for Seaman Specialist, you would normally expect a three or more year wait to begin Intial Naval Training.

Best bet is to call your AFCO as they will have a better idea.
  4. Is that a typo Ninja or can you choose between carer or career ;-P
  5. questionare???

Just another hurdle - Them wot spells it rite moves up two places in the NAAFI queue.

    (Clue - questionnaire FGS!)
  6. Make sure its the questionaire you fill in not the commisionaire, that can really put back your start date.
  7. I've got to fill the online security form in the next few days, my paper one got sent back! And I got a date yesterday. But filling the form out tonight!
  8. Good news on getting your date builder hopefully you dont have to wait that much longer and hopefully this means that i could be about to get my date!
