Good find. Wonderful footage. I hope the haunts of Salford and Stretford proved as enjoyable as I remember. During one visit, we had the jovial Mayors of both towns on board and one of them (I can't recall which one) waxed lyrical about enjoying the privilege of taking his family for a 'day at sea' on the honey barge (not what he called it!) whenever he wanted.
What made me laugh was when the narrator was describing Thomas Edison as a showman and a bit of a rogue. She gave his real name as Alfred Dewdney.
Any relation to the dynasty, I wonder?
