Officer selection during training?

  1. May be a sill question but I have successfully went through the recruitment process and now have a start date as a Weapons Engineer on the 29th November 2015. I have heard that if you show the right mentality, intelligence and ability at HMS Raleigh you can get drafted into Officer training, any truth? Thanks.
  2. You don't get "drafted", you get selected, it has happened in the past but is quite rare.
  3. Why don't you apply to be an officer before you join up.
  4. Probably due to English Language problems.
