  1. Hi all

I have my presentation evening for officer applicants tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone could give me an insight into what to expect and anything I should bring with me?

  2. Surely it's a presentation.

    Expect a presentation.
  3. Don't be so obvious.

You should expect flying pigs, pink elephants and friendly French people
  4. If it is the same thing that I went on today it's just a 45 minute presentation with a serving member of the RN going through a slideshow of the jobs open to officers, how to get them, sport and so on. Questions follow after that and you can get the official forms to sign up if you wish to.

Mine was in the morning so maybe your's is a bit diferent because you mention its an evening one. There were about 18 people there and 2 mums- only one guy didn't wear a suit.

If this is what you are talking about then just allow yourself to absorb all of the information given to you although to be honest, there wasn't much I hadn't learnt from doing my own research prior to it. Hope that helped
  5. Are you completely au fait with how to hold a pink gin?
