  1. Hey everybody, I am looking to apply for a position as a nursing officer. Just wondering if anybody knows of any good blogs/ websites ect about the process during the initial training. I can find loads of general info about the officer training such as the ABLE course and what happens every few weeks during training but the nursing officer training is slightly different from what I have read, just wondering how different.
It would just be nice to know what I was going to be doing during that time so I can be prepared.
    Thanks guys :)

The branch is quite small so there isn't a great deal of online reference sources. @nemesis1066 is certainly well versed in this particular area, if about. The other invaluable resource is the medical specialist recruiting team in Portsmouth, who are able to answer your queries & perhaps even able to arrange an acquaint visit: 02392 727096.
  3. Hi,
I would definitely get in touch with the Medical / Nursing specialist recruiters as they will be quite involved with any such entry into the Service.
The training required for Nursing Officers may be changing, as there are changes occuring at BRNC Dartmouth later this year. How they may effect you I don't have those answers.
    Good luck.
