Now that's what I call an officer - obituary of MTB Captain

Commander Jake Wright, DSC** (that's correct DSC and two bars...) in the Telegraph today - link

Commander Wright served in MTBs throughout the war - and "It was said that with Wright at the helm his crew would come back alive, and consequently men were keen to serve in his boat and his flotilla."

"Wright was an exemplary product of his generation, modest, private, courteous and charming, yet with the leader's gift of being able to enthuse and motivate those around him."

Required reading for all potential officers, IMHO.
