Good call NZB.

Trouble is that "Norman" has now become a verb to describe any poster that possesses one or more of his attributes.

Happy huntin'
Verb?------
Surely Adjective? or more properly adjectival noun?

Why are all you lunatics on RR hunting Norman? it seems as if you are afraid of truthfull criticism, criticism does hurt, but if acted upon can inprove working canditions and save life. As we all know the RN is so steeped in traditions that if you rubbed an officers nose in improvement he`ll not see it. In the fifties Navy, the naval (so called) hand was dressed just a few clicks above wearing a sackcloth, old denium shirts and trousers that were patched and faded, winter and summer. When operating from RAF bases we were banned from the dinning rooms for being so scruffy, while the RAF airmen were swanning around in smart battledress and parker jackets in winter. The Navy had spent so much money on wardroom silver and trinkets they had no money left to clothe the hands properly.
Untill I see the day that the RN has designed some decent kit for thier men to wear (with a bit of style and cut to it) I will never believe the officers when they bleat that they look after the hands, most of them dont know (or care) that the hands exist. No Im not No man or any relation.
Ask silverfox. He appears to have the "hots" for her. Just impossible for him to leave her behind.

I have to ask...who is this Norman guy, and why does he keep making multiple log in's....crazy?

A very valid, and strangely rhetorical question!

The funny thing about Norman is he has actually become a Noun for anyone considered bonkers/barking batshit mad on this site.

The genuine "Norman" article clearly has an axe to grind about the Navy & rather than complain directly to the relevant authority about such things as the apparent plethora of Admirals, Lt Cdrs, etc., prefers to cause grief on here as he's convinced that 1SL is in charge on here.

(If he is, there goes my bloody MBE again
)

Talking to yourself is one thing - but generating aliases to do it is a novel approach.

Generating aliases is not a novel approach? Just how does one approach a novel?

Ahhhh! That's what all the references to a Norman are.

Phew, thought I was going crazy. So if Norman came up in a dictionary, what would the entry say?

=)
