Nike Fuelband at sea

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Bit of a random one I know, but does anyone use physical activity trackers when at sea? If so - any tips as to which is the best one to get?
  2. It's probably by unit but AFAIK you're not allowed to wear them, a bit like charity wristbands (H4H aside). It may be CO's discretion though so I'd be wary.

The Fitbit Flex gets spoken of highly by people though.
  3. I think he's in RFA so he might get away with it

  4. Oh. In that case you'd get away with having one as a Prince Albert and laying it on the charts every morning.
  5. Dont they just look like a watch? So as long as its not overly outrageous you should be ok with it.
  6. PTI nearly fainted when our (rfa) intake went to the gym for an induction.
  7. OK, so I am to conclude that as long as it looks like a watch I can wear what I want. Excellent!

How about any experiences using different types of trackers?

Oh and just to clear it up, I'm a girl.

  8. Yeah you should be fine if it isn't overly obvious
