Bit of a random one I know, but does anyone use physical activity trackers when at sea? If so - any tips as to which is the best one to get?

It's probably by unit but AFAIK you're not allowed to wear them, a bit like charity wristbands (H4H aside). It may be CO's discretion though so I'd be wary.

The Fitbit Flex gets spoken of highly by people though.

Oh. In that case you'd get away with having one as a Prince Albert and laying it on the charts every morning.

OK, so I am to conclude that as long as it looks like a watch I can wear what I want. Excellent!

How about any experiences using different types of trackers?

Oh and just to clear it up, I'm a girl.
