It will take place in London at The Grand Connaught Rooms, 9:30am to 4:30pm.

Head of Operations, Jim Pennycook, will introduce CDE and give an overview of proof-of-concept research funding opportunities for innovative science and technology providers.

There will be themed competition briefings by MOD and UKDSC on:

Both of these themed competitions have up to £1 million available for phase-1 projects, with at least £1.25 million available for phase 2. These CDE themed competitions are in association with the UK Defence Solutions Centre (UKDSC), as part of the Defence Growth Partnership (DGP) Innovation Challenge.

At the event Bruce Hardie, CDE’s Technology Manager, will give an overview of some areas where innovative research ideas are sought for CDE’s ongoing enduring challenge competition. Bruce will also talk about how to create an effective proposal for CDE funding.

You’ll be able to pre-book a face-to-face meeting with CDE, UKDSC, Dstl and military experts to discuss your potential proposal to either of the themed competitions detailed above.

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet other potential bidders, CDE, Dstl, MOD, defence industry and military experts.

Presentation slides will be published after the event on this page.
