New scrummaging law variations

  1. So, fellow rugby fans, three weeks into the new premiership season, what's your opinion of the new scrummaging laws?
I think that there's a lot less faffing around setting the scrums and less collapsing due to the hit being depowered. Most of the younger No2's are now having to learn the art of hooking which they probably have never previously had to do from their club academy days onwards. A crooked feed got pinged during last night's Quin's game
  2. Not before time. Now hookers will have to earn the title. Let's hope we'll see a few more heels against the head. Those crooked feeds have become the norm, perhaps now they'll be the exception rather than the rule.
  3. As a still playing second row I do miss the big hit we now lack. Having played prop I'm aware I'm smashing the front three into each other, but none the less.....
