The heart of the site is the forum area, including:
Scandalous, not fitting with the area.
Cant wait for BOST now!
Bloody Poles, get everywhere!

......What about us OLD men???
They expect you to be blind already and thus not a problem.
Another nail in Union Street's coffin?
Totally unrelated, perhaps, but there was an interesting side link on that article; http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/09/18/article-1057283-02B42A4E00000578-477_468x509_popup.jpg
Maybe the pub should mag the pole dancing and go for roller disco?
It's not down the Strip...it's in the Barbican, but I know exactly what you mean. Union Street is a right bag o' sh*te nowadays and this bar would fit right in.
I tend to go up to the Barbican when I want a 'normal' night out, or tourist trapping in the Summer. I can't fault the council for trying to knock it back.
As you deduced, that was the point I was making. Keeping "that sort of thing" in Union Strasse would accord with its fast fading traditions. I have very fond memories of the Barbican and loud bloody disco music isn't one of them.
Typical, I leave Guz and then this happens. :-(
Union Street has been 'dead' for many years IMHO.
