Navy PJFT?

Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Just wondering about the PJFT. Do you just do a run for 1.5m in the time limit, or is there anything else included.

    Cheers.

  2. You get on a treadmill at a desinated fitness centre by your AFCO. they check your pulse and blood pressure. You then get on the treadmill they set it for the minimum speed required to pass it in the time for your age and gender. You can either keep at that speed or speed it up if you wish. You can slow it down but then you got snags if that is case.

You get off the treadmill and your done.

That is how the PJFT is done for the RN. It's slightly different for divers and booties

  3. You know something? Change the word PJFT to the word "Life", and you have a pretty good analogy.
