Just realised the skipper of Ambush was on the bridge of HMS Opportune back in the early 90s as the navigator but had not done his nav course when we hit a Panama registered cement freighter on the roof during staff college sea days. The week after he was on the Northella for his nav course,horse bolted gate etc...

Unless 2 O boats hit concrete carriers in the early 90s then it wasn't him, it was another guy who drove a boat a few years ago.
