I can hear the keyboards being bashed around RR now.The only problem is how much embellishment can you get away with as your dit is supposed to be the truth.

 

How ironic - the rules state that the submitted article for the competition must be no more than 300 words.

The competition rules contain 523 words. :roll:

 

Okay, who's for making up our own story? Each contributor can chip in their own snappy sentence in keeping with AX Forum standards (not Lil's). Total word limit is 300 after which a new story has to begin. I'll kick off with:

It was a dark and stormy night.
