Navy CBAT/FATs

Afternoon all,

Am I correct in saying that the RN CBAT scoring is the same as AAC, in the sense that they just require a score above their minimum mark - as they assess your flying ability through grading. They differ to the RAF as the RAF uses 'stanine' scoring in their tests - as they don't have a grading system in their selection process?

Hope that makes sense...

Thanks

Not available at RR but an Official RN AFCO recruiter and an Official RAF recruiter may those best qualified to confirm/deny whether you are correct or not.

RRs Armchair Advisers are in the main 'Unofficial'. As such they/we are prone to offer conflicting advice on every subject going (often through ignorance, sometimes being well out of date and, dare it be said, occasionally with mischievous malice aforethought).

...but always with the genuine desire of helping hopeless hopefuls according to their perceived merit.
