So I take it if I was to prove that I have lived with my parter for 3 years, using morgage statments that would not be enougth? Its annoying if thats the case because a weddings with my missis would cost a bloody fortune

Sat my RT test and done rely well, got told I have done better then most people do buy quite a bit, I asked what my scores were and he said I am not allowed to see them yet, to his folly he assumed I am not able to read numbers when there upside down, if he thinks that simple skill like that are beyond the so called smart of are generation then it kind of says it all.
'Outwitted' a Careers Adviser with many years experience who obviously didn't intend you to read the score, because he was oblivious to the fact they had written it on the front of the pack, face-up on the table between you both. Clumsy, eh? Tsk.

Evening all
I have had all my test and a final meeting in the interview in the careers office and I am basically awaiting my first days at basic.
I had a bit of a brain fart and forgot a rather important question, When I sat my Psychometric Test I was informed that the waiting list was 9 to 12 months but now it seems to be around the 16 months mark.
Does this new waiting list apply to me as in I will start 16 months after my test as opposed to a year or is this just to people starting the application now?
Cheers
Forgot to ask Careers Adviser of possible expected entry date.

Evening All,
I have passed all of the required test so far in regards to joining the navy, I have also been told I have been accepted and am eagerly awaiting my turn for basic training. I have not been given anything in writing though to state that I have been accepted. Is this normal or should I have received a letter informing me of this? I only ask because I have left my job as a trainee tech to move to a job nearer my home to fill the gap between now and starting.
In summary:
You have a mortgage, passed the test Feb-April (?), knew the waiting times were incresased to 16 months for your chosen trade, (possibly extended by a futher 6 months due to a 6 month break in Recruit training Nov 20110- May 2011) no offer of service/provisional entry date, have changed jobs in anticipation of an entry date.
If all else fails, it maybe as well to ring your 'dozy' careers adviser & ask.
Kind of says it all - Good luck.
