Mourners required for D Day Veteran's funeral (Cambridgeshire)

Please see below a message from the RBL.

On Wednesday the 10th of May at 1430 at Cambridge Crematorium East Chapel we are saying goodbye to a Second World War Royal Navy D Day Veteran. John Craig , 93 was on the Arctic Convoys and always wore his White Beret with pride. On D Day he was on a Mine Sweeper that was attacked in the early hours and John was the sole survivor. He was washed ashore and taken to Hospital in the UK where he discovered he had lost an eye. Johns wife died a few years ago and apart from a handful of members of the local RBL there will be no one else attending as he had no family.
