Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. It's only 200 years late! :slow::sleepy2:

    OSD

  2. Great idea and a fitting tribute to an unsung hero.Nelson called him his rock and he carried the battle after the demise of Nelson.
    All he wanted to come home but they kept him overseas winning battles for years afterwards,he was indespensible to our future naval dominance.
    He died en-route coming home at last.Shame he was a real hero and a kind commander to his men,the lash was not part of his command unless needed.
    We produced some great seaman thru the years and he was one of the greatest.
