One of the wife's customers brought some gooseberries today. 'From mum, she knows you like them, I think they're pants.' Me; 'Eh?' She; 'It Means they're not very nice.'
Why didn't she just say that?

Everything I say winds the wife up , just because I have the very delicate Black Country accent and she’s a Dubliner, she seems to think that she’s speaks correctly and constantly tries to correct me especially when I say , “ is the young fella getting the buz hum or do I ave ta get him “

I have delicate Black Country accent (well, I think it's delicate!) And my wife is from 'Ull and I met her when she lived in Plymouth.

The reporters keep saying the bomb was disposed of by "the UK Army". What happened to British Army?
