Just had a text inviting me to order a poppy for my mobile - can anyone verify the legitimacy or is this a scam by another agency cashing in on the sentiments of this time of year?
  2. Just got the same - I know that last year I made a donation via a link on here (or ARRSE) and that was legitamate RBL. Think they must keep you on record and it is the right day for the official start I think, standing by to be corrected.
Just done the same and donated for the "Poppy" wallpaper, but I'll also be doing the same with an old serviceman when I see them collecting.
The only charity I give to.

Yep, I think this is Kosher - too much of a coincidence otherwise - did you donate via mobile phone last year?

It is RBL if it states text "LEGION" to 85552
  4. Be carefull here people, look at the banner on the top of this link.

    The RBL official site is

Why is it being redirected through a web hosting company. I hope Im wrong, because if its being scammed then these bastards are ******* scum.

    text 'poppy' to 82225.
I think you may have to be WAP enabled as the piccy is a .jpeg, or else download it from your mobile phone providers website to your phone (if it supports .jpeg)

Link here, and scroll down for details.
