More years ago than I care to admit, I was born in the sick bay of Military Detention Barracks, Corrodino, Malta. My father was on a five year accompanied posting with the Royal Marines, and it is just the way it happened. It has given me a bit of an interest in the old place. Plans are currently afoot to put the buildings to a different use, but at the same time a prison museum is being created. Do you have any anecdotes, or anything about the history of the place - as a guest there or otherwise. The more printable of the stories I will send to Corrodino, and plan to visit later this year.
