Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Could anyone tell me what the current waiting time for joining up as an MET (surface or subs) is please?

  2. Do they need to know what the weather is like up top, on a boat? Perhaps @WreckerL can enlighten me :)

There ain't no Mets on submarines. Suffice to say it'll be a bit wet outside.

WS(HM) is about 14 months test to entry. Bear in mind the H =Hydrography & you could end-up being either/or.
