Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Dear all,

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I refer this particularly to those reservists serving overseas this Christmas and their families who are left behind.

    Here's to a good 2009. :santa: :rendeer:
  2. And stay safe!
  3. Hoping to be back in the UK at the beginning of Jan - and can't wait to be back in the cold!!!!
  4. Well her I sit, at KAF having the Christmas to remember for a long time :) Fitting in with the pongos and crabs has taken some time, but their different ways are interesting to see.

25 degrees of heat, clear blue sky, and no incoming for a few days now., but sick of hearing Hallelujah! Just received a Christmas gift package from HMG, contianing all manner of survival implements; signalling mirror, multi-tools, knife, torch. Are they trying to tell us something?????
  5. No malaria tablets though - so Zimbabwe isn't on the horizon yet :)
