medical triage call eczema

diggyy_

Newbie
hello all,

I am looking for the best way to go about conducting my medical triage with regards to eczema. I do not want to lie what so ever. However if there are trigger words or phrases to avoid using or ways in which i could play it down as much as possible they would be great to know.

I was prescribed a weak steroid cream 2 years ago, since then i have managed to make the small patch i had on my wrist go away through proper nutrition and effective routines. Is it worth mentioning this during the triage call?

Many thanks

You do realise the people conducting your Army triage will be the same people conducting your RM one so using the Army one as a trial run will be counter productive.

Use the search function at the top right of the page, eczema is one of the most common subjects posted on here.

I have been told that your army and navy profiles are totally separate, is that not the case?

Why don't you just be 100% honest about it.
What's the point in "down playing" it, then having a face to face medical and them questioning why it is worse than what you mentioned.
Surley your steroid cream will be on you medical records, so you then have to explain why it's not as bad as you say yet you have been using cream etc.
Just seems a lot of unnecessary hard work when you can just be up front and honest about it.
But that's just my opinion. Good luck.

It's all done by Capita, the medical criteria are the same, if you're on the system you will flag up as already being through triage and the results.
