Im 20 years old now, but when I was 15 I took an impulsive overdose stupid teenager stuff, was fortunate enough to walk away without any damage and have spent the last 5 years getting my life back on track. However, im just worried that this will go against me in the application process can anyone give me some advice if this will or not please.

  2. Shouldnt do,you will possibly face a few questions over the episode.DONT consider not mentioning it, if found out you can be discharged for "Fraudulent Entry"

As Andy says. The following is the guide to medical conditions which maybe a bar to entry:

    "Psychiatric disorders

Ongoing psychiatric illness. Psychosis. Schizophrenia Obsessive-compulsive
disorder. Autism. Personality disorder. More than one episode of deliberate
    self-harm of any type.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Alcohol, drug or substance dependence. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) unless free of symptoms and not requiring treatment for at least 3 years. Anorexia and bulimia."

    Good luck to you.
