Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hello all

I've been told by the AFCO that the medicals have changed since my initial brief. He wasn't sure if it where, what maakes up the medical and at what point they are taken. I'm reasonably sure he was new to the AFCO.

I've tried to use the search on here, but all I found out was the the PJFT was essentialy scrapped and has been replaced by the RN fitness test (please correct me if I'm wrong).
I'm inclined not to trust the website, as it isn't 100% up to date all of the time.

Could somebody clarify at the medical whats happens? Is it the normal medical plus a fitness test or just a medical.

Sorry, I realise this must be a very annoying and recurring question. With the possible change I thought it best to ask on here as the lad in the AFCO wasn't sure. Thanks in advance for any info.
