Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Where would I be best to find information on a medal that was awarded during WWII? Me grandad was awarded one after serving on a minesweeper that was bombed off the coast of Tobruk (sp!?) and sold it to fund one of me aunties wedding. Was wondering if it would be possible to get a replica of the medal and any paperwork that went with it as a present for one of me uncles who is interested in the family history.
  2. National Archives
  3. Cheers. What sort of details will I need (service number etc?).
  4. Well if you have it obviously it wouldn't be a bad idea.

It will only take a couple of seconds to add to your enquiry.
