Medals and such

As one can buy a chestfull of medals after making one post it might be an idea to include the year that one joined aswell....the site is almost a year old and some first footers to the forum look a bit sad if say they have made less than one hundred posts.

I got a medal last night, dunno what for it just appeared and I haven't been here very long, I still haven't worked out how to add all the fancy bits to my posts, but I am a self confessed computer biff.

Maybe a way to make up the funding shortfall in the RN, bring back having to buy your Commission?
