MCM's Sea/shore ratio

Can anyone who has served on MCM's (in particular MCM1) tell me if the sea/shore ratio is the same as on frigs?

Also, as a WE, I do expect a large amount of rack time, is this possible on small ships?

I can't tell you the sea/shore ratio for MCM's, but previous experience on small ships I can tell you WE's still get plenty of rack time! More than big ships in my experience

You'll be 1 in 2.5 out in the Gulf, and if you're not there, either doing OST, JMC, Route Survey or NATO Ops. Whilst life on small ships is fun, don't expect lots of time off....
