[FONT=&amp]JOB PURPOSE[/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]To work as part of the Engineering department and support, day to day, the safe operation of the [/FONT][FONT=&amp]client[/FONT][FONT=&amp] Sites in Farnborough and to co-ordinate and support the application of best practice and[/FONT][FONT=&amp] client[/FONT][FONT=&amp] code of conduct throughout the organisation. Working in partnership with all departments to ensure delivery against customer requirements and in line with all [/FONT][FONT=&amp]client[/FONT][FONT=&amp] policies and procedures. Review working practices and adopt a continuous improvement culture. Understand and Engage and develop all members of the team to ensure individuals are working to their optimum capability.[/FONT]

  • [FONT=&amp]Monitor, identify and help eliminate safety hazards in the work environment[/FONT]

  • [FONT=&amp]To deliver outstanding service to the customer for product manufacture and new product introduction [/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Ensure smooth and cost effective introduction of an optimized production method to the shop floor. [/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]De-bug the process to achieve consistent quality and repeatability[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Provide Engineering process definitions and customer approvals [/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Strive for right first time and on time delivery [/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Achievement of agreed personal objectives[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Identify tool definition and suitability for manufacture[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Ensure compliance with Engineering documentation procedures[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Ensure all MRP data is entered actually and in a timely manner[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Working in partnership with the production teams to advise and guide during production[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Working in partnership with the production team to identify and eliminate any production issues.[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]To attain expert knowledge of customer requirements and specifications[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Ensure compliance with internal and external Quality requirements[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]To work interdependently with other departments[/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]Technical & Quality[/FONT]


  • [FONT=&amp]Ensure compliance to customer requirements[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Working with the team to resolve technical issues. For re-occurring issues ensure 8D analysis tools are employed[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Liaise with specialists to assist in issues that cannot be resolved within the team[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Support the customer in design phase and negotiate tolerances within process capabilities. If data is not available then plans are required to work to acquiring the data[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Support shop floor activities to ensure compliant process/part manufacture and understanding of engineering generated documents[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Ensure Route cards are correct for BOMS and a breakdown of quoted process times[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp]Capture any share lessons learned and best practice[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&amp] Agree target for production hand over which should consider scrap, rework, handover quality audit, quality of tooling and documentation[/FONT]
