  1. Yep, was there '85 or '86 on Sealion and I think it was a couple of greenies that put up the crest. It's not in the phots though but gets a mensh. Went three or four times that year, stayed in the Inverurie Hotel. Had an unscheduled stop in St. Georges after an emergency surface as well.

    Anyone else notice the USS Elmer MONGomery? F****** Yanks, surely that should be Montgomery, I think the Mong bit refers to the Artist.

    I was on Fox when ours was painted late '82 or early '83. Painted by a dabtoe named Smudge.
     
  4. HMS Tartar's was on the jetty wall in the 1960s.
     
  5. Trenchant`s was there in 89/90, I think round the corner from Nottingham`s, seaward side
