Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Snigger ^^.

PS: I love the Daily Mail diagram that labels the microphone lead as a digital data cable.

  2. The earphones are from Dr Dre so they may be digital quality data?

  3. High pressure oxygen? wouldnt it be easier to have the regulator attached to the chair? less weight hanging off your swede.

Flying blind?, I would have thought the pilot could have got by using normal instrumentation, sounds like a minor embuggerance during normal flying and a major one in combat but not insurmountable.

  4. When the title said "New Helmets in the RAF", I thought it was a crab recruiting stunt.

  5. The real pilots aren't wearing them, just a flight deck helmet with a talking headset bodged together by the pinkies.
