Okay i retract my comments on another thread. All young peoples spelling is shite!!!

:thumright:
Somehow i don't think im classed as young mate! And im writing a thread not a novel, spelling should not have to be 100% accurate to avoid people commenting it...and anyway i was typing fast because if the boss saw on on the tinternet she'd cook me up good :threaten:

The spelling mistakes in the graffiti pisses me off!!!

When I was a lad the only running water at Lympstone was the fire hose after the endurance venture.

That reminds me of the 'Romanes eunt domus' scene from the Life of Brian.

Centurian - "What's this"?
Brian - It says, "Romans go home"
Centurion - "No it doesn't ! What's the latin for 'Roman'? Come on, come on"!
Brian - "Er, "Romanus"!
Centurion - "No! The vocative plural of "Romanus" is"?
Brian - "Er, er, "Romani"!

....and so on, and then he makes him write it out 100 times...

Centurion - "Understand? Now, write it out a hundred times".
Brian - "Yes sir. Thank you, sir. Hail Caesar, sir".
Centurion - "Hail Caesar ! And if it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your balls off." :biggrin:

Then last year some wag did this in Gloucester;

IMD accommodation was eight men, at the start anyhow, to a room/cabin, cosy.
I understand that the Armed Forces as a whole are moving towards all ranks having a room/cabin of their own. Will need someone more current than me to vouch for the veracity/or progress of that though.
