Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Very interesting obit, another naval pilot who had a very varied and eventful life in the cockpit RIP:salut:

  2. Couldn't agree more. He obviously had a veritable shed-load of good aviation dits and I would have loved to hear about all those engine failures and rough-running motors. It just makes me realise how lucky I was to have such a reliable machine to fly, made possible by a fine bunch of maintainers. First deck landing and he ends up ditching, what a pisser =)

  3. Cor Pontius
A compliment for the maintainers, normally Buccaneer aircrew would just mank:love: at us as they scribbled in the 700

  4. What a legend. They certainly don't make 'em like this anymore.
