Couldn't agree more. He obviously had a veritable shed-load of good aviation dits and I would have loved to hear about all those engine failures and rough-running motors. It just makes me realise how lucky I was to have such a reliable machine to fly, made possible by a fine bunch of maintainers. First deck landing and he ends up ditching, what a pisser =)
A compliment for the maintainers, normally Buccaneer aircrew would just mank:love: at us as they scribbled in the 700
