How do you folks change an original "link" from the address bar
(i.e. www.dailymirror.co.uk/article25674/html) into those easier
to understand shorter versions for pasting please.

I see these pasted as perhaps two words like "Click Here"
and it takes you to the article in question. I'm having a
mid-life moment.

Start typing your post, then, after you've typed a few words, click on "Preview".

This will enable you to click the Winged Globe to enter a link address, followed by whatever you want to call it
