Flying Fish

Why?

They serve them in most restaurants and hotels, it is the national dish, the fish comes in a spicy breadcrumb coating and is unbelievable, the texture is almost like chicken or fillet steak. Best enjoyed with a large Mount Gay rum punch.

When I was one of a crew that sailed our whaler from Barbados to St.Lucia fifty years ago, we had to keep chucking the things out of the boat, especially at night. They don't seem to have a great sense of direction and are of no help at all when it's your turn to grab a few zzzzzzzzzzs!

We had the same trouble a couple of years later, maybe Ulsters 3 in 1 had a strange attraction to them
