left eye eyesight

  1. Hello,

    i replied to a other post but thought would be better to start my own.

    My eyesight is Right eye 6/6 (no need for correction) and my left eye is 6/24- uncorrected and 6/15+ N10 corrected.

    I no you can have 6/24, 6/18 & 612 corrected but where does 6/15 come into this as I dont quite understand?

    If I meet requirements would i meet them for CIS Specialist ?

    Any help would be fab!!

  2. Shouldn't be a problem.

    The first number is what you are reading, and the second is the distance you should be at. For example, 6/6 means you see at 6m what you should be able to see at 6m. 6/15 means you see at 6m what you should be able to see at 15m - not perfect, but still within the guidance for your branch of choice.
