Welcome to the Navy Net aka Rum Ration

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial RN website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

1. Lee joined the Royal Marines in 1999 aged 17 and served in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

He was one of the three SAS that died last year when their PUMA crashed. His name has just been released.

News Release

Rest in Peace Lee.
2. My sympathies, RIP.
3. It's a sad time. Thoughts with family.

Myself and some old ship mates buried a good friend who served with us on the Anglesey

He was 37 was a serving member of the Andrew but gave up his fight against the remains of a brain tumour.

It's never a good thing losing a colleague
4. R.I.P lads.
5. At the going down of the sun...........................
6. Very sad and a speedy recovery to the aircrew who i played a very small part in repatriating.

THE PILGRIMS :
We are the Pilgrims, master; we shall go
Always a little further: it may be
Beyond the last blue mountain barred with snow,
Across that angry or that glimmering sea,
White on a throne or guarded in a cave
There lives a prophet who can understand
Why men were born: but surely we are brave,
Who make the Golden Journey to Samarkand

7. RIP fellas
8. My sympathies to the family, especially as the snake-like coroner saw fit to ignore their wishes.
